Deserving of its ‘world in one country’ moniker, South Africa offers world class wildlife viewing, a plethora of safari activities and a multitude of national parks and private reserves. Beyond traditional wildlife viewing are the winelands, the battlefields, sophisticated cities, and glorious beaches which can all be enjoyed during a holiday here.  

From the world famous Kruger National Park to the lesser known but equally rewarding private reserves and smaller national parks, the wildlife viewing is superb. With large prides of lion, excellent leopard sightings, wonderful views of black and white rhino and plenty more besides, a game drive here is a rewarding experience.  For those wanting to get out of the vehicle, walking safaris and boat trips offer a different perspective. There are also many opportunities to get behind the scenes and involved with conservation work.  

Away from safari activities, the almost endless choice of experiences includes wine tasting and vineyard tours, visiting historic sites like Robben Island or the Battlefields, exploring the natural wonders of the Drakensberg Mountains and Garden Route, and spending an afternoon with penguins in Cape Town.
