Seychelles

Stretching across 115 islands, way out in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is a heady mix of beautiful palm fringed beaches, unspoiled coral reefs and lush hillsides.

The two principal islands, Mahe and Praslin, are the largest in the archipelago and between them host a range of wonderful hotels.  Away from the heavenly white sands, explore the Coco de Mer Forest to see the famous fruit trees of the same name. Take day trips to neighbouring islands or soak up the history and culture in the capital Victoria.

The outer islands are scattered further into the Indian Ocean and several of these house beautiful island resorts. These remote hideaways have individual characters and there are perfect spots for families, honeymooners and groups of friends.  Access to these tropical idylls is usually via helicopter, light aircraft or private launch.

Island hopping in the Seychelles is a rewarding experience, especially on longer trips.  Combine time on one or both of the principal islands with the smaller outlying islands.
