A riding safari is an amazing way to see the bush; silently traversing through the landscape and viewing wildlife from the back of a horse is an exhilarating experience. This does mean that the rider has to be experienced in the saddle.
There are many destinations where less experienced riders, whether beginners or those wanting a gentler ride, can enjoy a riding safari alongside their more experienced travel companions. These properties offer excellent options for riding with plains game such as giraffe, zebra and rhino. Combining a riding safari with a more traditional safari where the larger wildlife and predators may be seen works extremely well in this instance, particularly for families.
