Farm Fest, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire – 22nd – 24th May
This new brand new festival promises to celebrate Britain’s farmers. Featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Caleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland from Clarkson’s Farm, alongside other well-known faces such as Adam Henson. With a huge amount to see and do across the three days, from the farm yard, food, country games, horses, dogs and much more besides the event promises to be a fun-filled family day out. In the evening the Hawkstone Music Arena will come to life with the line-up featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Alex James Britpop Classical and 10CC amongst others. Ganders Travel will be close to the Grand Ring – exact location to follow – and we look forward to meeting you there.
Global Bird Fair, Rutland – 10th – 12th July
Located at Lyndon Top, close to Rutland Water, this celebration of avian life throughout the world is a wonderful day out for the entire family. All profits are donated to a chosen charity or conservation goal, which this year is supporting Preventing Island Extinctions. The fair is a great place to learn about birds in different parts of the world, as well as shopping for new optics; binoculars, spotting scopes, cameras, lenses etc. Ganders Travel are looking forward to returning (location to follow).
Defender Burghley Horse Trials, Stamford – 3rd – 6th September
This five star equestrian event, which sees the world’s best horse and riders compete at the top level returns to Burghley House in September. Held over four days, visitors will enjoy world class equestrian competition with dressage on Thursday and Friday, cross country on Saturday and show jumping on Sunday, when the winner will be crowned. The Burghley shopping experience is renowned for its quality and Ganders Travel are looking forward to returning to the Lifestyle Marquee and look forward to seeing you.
