Destinations London 30th January – 2nd February 2025 | Olympia London
We’re thrilled to kick off the year at Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show in London. This iconic event brings together travel experts, stunning destinations, and experiences from all over the world. You’ll find Lucinda representing Ganders Travel on the South Africa Tourism Stand, sharing her expert knowledge and insights on planning unforgettable trips to South Africa. Whether it’s a safari in Kruger, whale watching in Hermanus, or a wine tour in the Cape Winelands, Lucinda can help you plan your perfect South African escape.
Global BirdFair 11th – 13th July 2025| Lyndon Top, Rutland Water
For birding enthusiasts, the Global BirdFair is a must-visit. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water, this event celebrates wildlife and conservation from across the globe. Join us to learn about the extraordinary birding adventures we offer, from flamingos in Kenya’s Rift Valley to the vibrant birdlife of the rainforests of Rwanda, not to mention avian highlights such as the carmine bee-eaters in Southern Africa. Whether you’re a seasoned twitcher or just starting your birding journey, we’ll help you find the perfect itinerary to suit your passion.
RHS Flower Show at Wentworth Woodhouse (TBC) – 16th – 20th July 2025 | Wentworth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire
We’re hoping to attend this gorgeous event set in the stunning grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse, one of the finest stately homes in the UK. This show is a celebration of gardens, plants, and the natural world – perfect for those seeking inspiration for outdoor adventures. Come and chat with the Ganders Travel team about the incredible nature-focused trips we offer, including the Cape Floral Kingdom in South Africa, the botanical highlights of Namibia and the rainforests of East Africa.
Burghley International Horse Trials (TBC) 4th – 7th September 2025 | Burghley House, Stamford
The Land Rover Burghley International Horse Trials is a highlight of the equestrian calendar, drawing crowds from around the world. Ganders Travel is hoping to return to this event, where elite horses and their riders compete over the course of four days to take home the prestigious title.
We will be showcasing everything that we offer, including riding safaris in countries such as Botswana, Kenya and South Africa, walking safaris in countries such as Zambia and Zimbabwe and self-drive adventures in Namibia and South Africa and more traditional safari and beach holidays throughout East and Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean. Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials 18th – 21st September 2025 | Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire
We are thrilled to be returning to the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials for a third year running. This year it plays host to the FEI Eventing European Championship and with the stunning Blenheim Palace as the backdrop, the best riders and horses from Europe will come together to compete for both the individual and the team titles.
Over the course of four days of sport in the beautiful grounds of the palace, stop by to meet the Ganders Travel team. We’ll be delighted to chat about all the different tailored holidays we can put together, be it riding safaris or beach holidays, a combination of the two or anything in between.
