With its with varied landscapes of savannah, swamps, woodland and rivers, this pretty national park, tucked against the border with Tanzania, has a multitude of wildlife to enjoy. It is Rwanda’s only big 5 national park and alongside these wildlife highlights visitors will find plenty of antelope, giraffe and zebra roaming the plains. The rivers and lakes attract plentiful hippo and crocodile while the skies are home to some 480 bird species. Safari activities here include vehicle-based game drives, walking safaris and boat trips.
