Mosi-oa-Tunya, or the Smoke that Thunders, is a wonderfully apt name for the spectacular Victoria Falls which straddle Zambia and Zimbabwe.Visit during high water, April/May through to mid-late August, to experience the full effect of the ferocious spray which, if exploring on foot, can feel like a full-on shower.
