Katavi National Park

Katavi National Park feels as wild as anywhere in Africa and has a wonderful mix of habitats including savannah grassland, swamps, riverine forest, palm forest, mountains, rivers, and immense dry lake beds. Its remote setting in Western Tanzania means it sees far fewer visitors than many of the country’s other national parks.

Katavi’s two safari camps ensure guests can see the fabulous wildlife, which includes sable and roan antelope, cheetah, lion, zebra, giraffe and crocodile, in near solitude. For the adventurous safari traveller, it’s a magnificent spot to enjoy game drives, walking safaris and fly camping.
