The Limpopo province in South Africa’s northernmost region is a relatively little-known corner of the country and it’s where the Waterberg sits amid rolling savannahs and dramatic cliffs. The area has superb bird-life, excellent wildlife and a rich variety of flora. Malaria free and with a multitude of safari activities on offer including riding and walking safaris along with traditional game drives, it’s an excellent choice for a family safari. Among accommodation options here are private safari houses, beautifully converted farmsteads and traditional tented safari camps.
