Cape Town and Winelands

Cape Town is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. It sits in the foothills of Table Mountain and each area has a distinctly different feel. Constantia is full of pretty Cape Dutch architecture, the Atlantic Bay suburbs like Clifton and Camps Bay have lovely beaches, and Hout Bay feels like a holiday seaside town. There is plenty to explore, with world class restaurants, shopping, the botanical gardens, Robben Island, Cape Point, the Boulders Bay penguin colony and masses more. With so much to do, it’s a great place to start or finish a safari holiday, or even for a holiday in its own right.

The scenically beautiful Winelands towns of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl are about an hour away from Cape Town. Awash with vineyards, restaurants, galleries, museums and shopping, it’s easy to take a day trip from Cape town, or better still, spend a few days based here. Small boutique hotels abound, either village based on in the vineyards themselves.
